Bishop Weisenburger will celebrate Mass at 3:00 p.m. and bless the buildings at St. Boniface—the church, new parish hall, and the remodeled priest house and former sisters house.

Plans are being made for a meal and tours of the new/remodeled buildings throughout the day, as well as a slide show of history and current parish activities.

The parish is also putting together a cookbook for sale at the celebration. More details will follow in the coming months.

Parish children will assemble "Little Town of Bethlehem" crib scene beginning at noon. Also parishioners will clean up the parish grounds for Christmas—raking and hauling away leaves and pine needles. Soup and goodies will be available throughout the day for all helping.

Christmas Movie Day

Sunday, December 4, 2016

St. Boniface will host an afternoon of entertainment in the Parish Hall. At 2:00 the documentary "Charting Christmas" will play, followed by the movie "Stagecoach Santa" at 3:00. The DVD's will be projected on a 100-inch screen. Popcorn and drinks will be proveded. Bring a lawn chair for your comfort, or use the tables and chairs in the hall. All tri-parish members are welcome.

Charting Christmas (duration 41 minutes) explores the history of Christmas and answers questions such as "Why do we celebrate Christmas on December 25?", "How did Saint Nicholas become Santa Claus?", and "Why do we have Christmas trees?"

Stagecoach Santa (duration 60 mintues) follows the Thompson family as they head west after losing the family farm. Heartwarming and compassionate, it proves once again that the power of love overcomes even the most difficult circumstances.
